So, tomorrow is going to be my third attended funeral in the past eight months. I have attended 3 funerals in my entire life before the last eight months...my great-grandma when I was 7, my other great-grandma when I was 12, and - actually, that's it.

In the last eight months I've had the funeral of my bowling league director who lost his battle with brain cancer in October, my 19 year old cousin who was killed by a transport truck in Alberta in April, and now the funeral of a close family friend / could-be-relative who died of a heart attack on Wednesday. It seems like everyone is just...dying. And the sad thing is, they aren't dying from natural causes...they're dying from diseases and unexpected heart failures and unexpected horrible accidents.

I don't think I can get myself through another funeral if there ends up being one more before the year 2010. People close to me have to stop dying! The dA journal probably isn't supposed to be used for venting, but I'm using it for that, and I don't really care 'cause it has made me feel better. I am going to sleep and going to face the world of funerals tomorrow...should be...as fun as they get, I guess...
